mornings in haiti start with amazing, early sunrises and strong, strong coffee.
we spent our day yesterday in the villages of Mesaye and Bercy! the roads are full of life as we drive here as we pass markets and people going about their day to day business... and are still full of reminders that haiti is broken.
our hike into the village of mesaye was quite the adventure, but a wonderful view of the beautiful mountains
our girls even got to wash dishes haitian style!
our afternoon was spent walking, talking, praying, and playing. it was a blessed afternoon!
our evening ended with a fun night serving in the MOH kitchen washing dishes.
our day today was full of work on the MOH grounds, in the new warehouse and the new offices.
all in all we have definitely developed a love haiti relationship this week!!
